Welcome!

I offer in-person counselling in Victoria and virtual sessions across British Columbia and Ontario. My work is often focussed on helping people navigate a wide range of mental health and relational challenges. Whether you’re looking for individual counselling (teens or adults), family counselling or parenting support I offer compassionate, non-judgmental guidance and a strong desire to get to know you as a person. Please note that I don’t offer couples counselling, although I can provide you with some names of counsellors that do offer this service.

Services offered by a registered social worker may be covered by extended health benefit plans.

Individual and Family Counselling

MSW, RSW – Registered Social Worker. Providing counselling and social work services to youth, adults, and families.

In-person and virtual sessions are available in BC and virtual sessions in Ontario.

I am a Registered Social Worker and trauma informed counsellor with almost 20 years experience working in mental health, addictions and parenting support. Over the years I’ve worked with all ages and I tend to work most often in the areas of anxiety, depression, grief and loss, life transitions, relationships, communication and parenting.

I would consider myself fairly eclectic in my approach and it has to do with meeting the needs of an individual client rather than a set of tools. That said, I incorporate ideas from narrative therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, motivational interviewing, solution focussed, dialectical behaviour therapy, emotion focussed family therapy, self-compassion work and mindfulness.

If you would like to discuss anything or see if we might be a good fit, please book a consult. I would love to get to know you.
